Lin Xia, the female lead, rents an entire apartment and sublets the secondary bedroom to Wang Jiao under a strict contract forbidding overnight guests. Wang Jiao brings her mother over under the pretext of medical treatment, agreeing to stay for only three days. However, the mother and daughter constantly cross boundaries, ruining expensive gourmet ingredients, while the mother even picks locks to sneak into Lin Xia's private bedroom and use her personal items. Though Wang Jiao acts docile and considerate on the surface, she is greedy underneath and plots together with her mother. Lin Xia installs surveillance cameras in advance to collect evidence, catching the two secretly stealing cash on camera. Exposing the boundaries of shared living, this drama shows the importance of adhering to agreements and gathering lawful evidence to protect one's rights against entitled roommates.
