Zhuque Street No. 113
During the Republic era, Ling Ling, an orphan proficient in the art of physiognomy, used her discerning eyes on a long-distance bus to see through child traffickers and rescued Chen Xiaobao, the young son of a wealthy merchant. Unexpectedly, the Chen family was plagued by dark malevolence, the root cause being the grievance spirit of a baby girl sacrificed by her biological parents twenty years ago and sealed into a blood jade. Ling Ling performed a ritual to release her soul, only to be repaid with ingratitude by the Chen couple. Using a scheme of karmic retribution, she made the evildoers reap what they sowed. Meanwhile, the mastermind organization "Spider Web" surfaced, connected to Ling Ling's missing grandfather, Ling Xun. To seek the truth, she embarked on a train heading south, stepping step by step into a deeper maze.
