Running Water for One Village, Warmth for the Whole Village
To provide the entire village with clean drinking water, Lin Hao personally invests 500,000 yuan to launch a tap water project. However, a village couple deliberately obstructs the construction and demands a so-called "right-of-way fee." Faced with their extortion, Lin Hao refuses to give in. He invests an additional 250,000 yuan to reroute the pipeline around their property, ensuring that the entire village gets running water on schedule. Half a year later, a once-in-a-decade drought strikes. The troublemakers who refused to connect to the water supply suffer the consequences of their own actions. Only after sincerely apologizing and paying their fair share of the costs are they finally allowed to connect to the pipeline. Kindness can have boundaries, and justice will not be absent. True harmony among neighbors is built on mutual respect and firmly upheld principles.
