Rushing a Thousand Miles for Love, Only to Wait for a Heavy Rain
Carrying full expectations, Lin Gesang crosses a thousand miles to a northwestern town, rushing to fulfill her promise with Zhou Yuan. Through a dusty journey, she expects a warm companionship, but instead meets continuous cold rain and a brutal truth. A brain tumor attacks suddenly, hanging her life by a thread; a red scarf hides unexpressed thoughts, and letters sent from Gesang Town are filled with regret and tenderness. Zhuoma A-ma guards silently, and the sea of flowers hides the final longing. Heavy rain washes the past, love and hatred entwine, and only through life-and-death trials does Lin Gesang truly understand love and parting. A thousand-mile journey is not a joyful reunion, but learning to reconcile with regret and finding her own way home after wind and rain.
