Chengguang Technology is about to launch a customer service work order system. The dashboard shows all work orders cleared to zero, yet customer service continues repetitive follow-ups. Testing lead Lin Jianxia and backend developer Zhou Yan reproduce the bug, discovering the system mistakenly treats read messages as resolved issues. Lin Jianxia faces her past oversight, and product director Gu Xingzhou also confronts approval faults. The team avoids scapegoating, collects frontline customer service evidence, and reconstructs four clear work order states. General Manager Chen decides to postpone the launch and initiate a transparent small-scale trial. Finally, discarding false pretty data and taking real user confirmation as the closing basis, they complete the process repair while retaining room for improvement.
