In the remote Black Stone Village, a legend of the "Maiden Sacrifice Well" circulates. Lin Xiu'e, a widow, is the only one who questions this tradition. When her cousin Xiaolian comes to seek refuge with her, Xiaolian is drugged that very night and dragged toward the sacrificial well. Lin Xiu'e risks her life to save her and accidentally stumbles into a secret passage at the bottom of the well during their escape. To her horror, she discovers a hidden dungeon beneath where multiple young girls are imprisoned. The so-called "Well Immortal" is nothing more than a human trafficking scam concocted by Chen Wanshan and the trafficker Scarface. Joining forces with reporter Fang Qing and undercover investigator Gu Yan, Lin Xiu'e gathers ironclad evidence, ultimately exposing decades of evil in Black Stone Village.
