Sangsang on the Wuji Ridge
Sangsang, born with divine strength, is brought home by the hunter Lin Yue. Wutong Village welcomes a new member from then on. She holds down mad pigs, lifts ox carts, and snatches grain on snowy nights, doing the work of three strong laborers all by herself. Lin Yue teaches her to hold back her strength while living her life, and Su Guilan cherishes her to the bone, making clothes and decocting medicine to pamper her like a treasure. Lin Yue le insegna a moderare la sua forza nel vivere la vita, e Su Guilan la adora fino al midollo, cucendo vestiti e preparando medicine per viziarla come un tesoro.
