Traveling scholar Pei Wenqing carries the heritage of the Tianji Pavilion. Relying on Tianji insight, he can see through the structural weaknesses of all things. Lu Batian, the patriarch of the Lu Clan, holds the archaic imperial weapon, the Heaven-Slaying Divine Sword, causing chaos in the mortal world with a heavy trail of blood debts. With an ordinary bamboo brush and relying not on brute force, Pei Wenqing points out the fatal flaws of the divine weapon. After going through the great battle of the Myriad Weapons Return to Ruins Array, he resolves the chaos of the heavenly demons and protects the common people with the power of the literary Dao.
