Mistaking the White Moonlight, the Crown Prince Breaks Off the Marriage and Bestows Her on His Worthless Younger Brother
Lu Wanzheng, the legitimate daughter of the Defender-General's Mansion, awaits by imperial decree to marry Crown Prince Pei Zhan. On the grand wedding day, the Crown Prince mistakenly identifies his savior, publicly calls off the wedding, and—to suppress the General's Mansion—bestows her upon the helpless second prince, Pei Yunqi. To preserve her family, Lu Wanzheng endures the humiliation and agrees. The two feign maneuvering under the Crown Prince's surveillance, gradually developing genuine affection for each other over time. When Pei Zhan discovers that Lu Wanzheng is his true white moonlight, he goes mad with regret and resorts to any means to win her back. Lu Wanzheng and Pei Yunqi join hands to counter the imperial power conspiracies, weathering trials of imprisonment, warfare, and life and death, ultimately shattering the Crown Prince's treasonous plot and standing shoulder to shoulder to harvest glory and refuge.
