A Grain of Rice Travels to Farther Places
After returning to his hometown, Cen Hexu discovers that the cooperative's new rice harvest has been abundant, but sales are struggling to keep up. Faced with this challenge, he does not rush to lower prices. Instead, he works alongside the villagers to carefully examine every stage of production, from the fields and drying to processing, sorting, and cooking, step by step, to determine the true quality of the rice. Through authentic livestreams, they share the journey of a single grain of rice with a wider audience. They refuse to exaggerate, compete for sales at any cost, or cut corners in the production process. By upholding quality through honesty and responsibility, and expanding their market through cooperation, they also help villagers discover new possibilities for rural development. This story reminds us that lasting success comes from keeping our feet on the ground, acting with honesty and responsibility, working together, and valuing the fruits of our labor.
