When Chairman Wang Junhua is mysteriously hospitalized, an unfamiliar woman, Song Qing, is parachuted in as acting secretary. She keeps the office locked tight as suggestive sounds drift out, raising deep suspicion from veteran secretary Zhao Xue. Convinced that Song Qing is using the chairman's absence to meet a secret lover, Zhao Xue repeatedly breaks in to search the room, turning up men's clothes, condoms, and a hidden clasp on the sofa. As Song Qing and Supervisor Lin repeatedly block her, Zhao Xue becomes certain someone is hiding inside the couch. But when she forces the clasp open, there is no lover—only a voice recorder and incriminating documents, forcing Supervisor Lin to snatch the evidence and expose himself as the company mole. In reality, Wang Junhua faked his illness, and the entire scheme was a trap set by the two of them.
