Treat with Tenderness, and Sweetness Will Come in the End
On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Lin Yu, the son of Lin Zhe and his ex-wife, shows up at their doorstep, drenched from head to toe. Timidly, he asks if he can stay for two days. Su Wan, heavily pregnant, takes his hand and tells him that this is his father's home and he is welcome to stay. Noticing how pale and emaciated the boy is, she learns that his mother, Song Li, has allowed her current husband to mistreat her own son. Su Wan therefore asks Lin Zhe to reduce the child support payments and spend the money directly on Lin Yu instead. During the National Day holiday, Lin Yu is driven out of the house by Zhang Hao once again. Pregnant Su Wan takes him to the company to demand an explanation. Song Li causes a scene, boasting about her supposedly distinguished status. Su Wan reveals her true identity, leaving Zhang Hao, her father's former driver, completely stunned. Amid the ensuing chaos, Su Wan falls to the ground.
