In the winter of 1982, Lu Ye is reborn with the remorse of his past life. Facing his wife and daughter who are suffering from hunger and cold, he resolves to turn over a new leaf and protect his family. While hunting in the mountains, he accidentally activates the All Things Entry System. By hunting with cold weapons and seizing the entries of his prey, he strengthens himself. He catches game, exchanges them for grain and clothing, gradually breaking down the estrangement in his wife Su Wan's heart, and caring tenderly for his daughter Niannian. Lu Ye befriends Zhao Shoushan, a loyal mountain companion, and rescues a young lynx named Little Mountain Lord. He fights valiantly to drive off villains, earns the 'Forest Guardian' medal, and obtains a formal hunter's certificate. The whole family welcomes a prosperous and peaceful new life.
