The Whole Village Forces Me to Remove the Water Pipes, Then Regrets It After Three Days Without Water
To repay a debt of gratitude, Chen Ming spent ten years installing water pipes throughout the village at cost price, always answering the villagers' calls whenever they needed him. But after being incited by Sun Yulan, the villagers accused him of being unscrupulous and demanded that he refund their money and remove the pipes. Chen Ming did as they asked, collected the dismantled materials, and sold them. The villagers hired another plumber who claimed to be cheaper, only to discover that his labor charges had doubled and his materials were secondhand. In revenge, the village elder cut the main water pipe, causing an explosion that severed his hand and left the entire village without water just before the New Year. Only then did Chen Ming reveal that he had already prepared all the necessary materials and would have provided them free of charge. When the truth came out, the Sun family paid compensation and fled. The villagers regretted their actions and apologized. Chen Ming left the past behind and joined the town's water supply department. "This is the last time. It's not forgiveness; it's goodbye."

Setelah kebenaran terungkap, keluarga Sun membayar ganti rugi lalu melarikan diri. Warga desa menyesal dan meminta maaf. Chen Ming pun meninggalkan masa lalunya dan bekerja di kantor penyediaan air kota kecamatan. "Ini terakhir kalinya. Bukan berarti aku memaafkan, melainkan aku mengucapkan selamat tinggal."
