Serving Gods - Season 2
In the Age of Divine Deities, incense offerings are power. People flock to worship popular righteous gods such as the God of Longevity and the God of Wealth, yet achieve little because divine blessings are scarce. Lu Chen, a transmigrator who awakens the legacy of the Daoist tradition, takes the opposite path and focuses on neglected gods. He first worships Jun Caishen, whose incense offerings are few, and gains the blessing of wealth authority. He then defies convention by offering sacrifices to King Yama, recognizing the ruler of the underworld as his adoptive father and taking control of the Book of Life and Death and the ghost army. The world mocks him for worshipping evil gods and ruining his future, but with the full support of these overlooked deities, he builds temples, expands his influence, and moves between the realms of the living and the dead. In an age when countless gods compete for supremacy, he rises against the tide and carves out an unprecedented shortcut to divine power.
