Settling Scores Starting from a Dinner Party (56 episodes) - AllShorts

Liu Shijie, manager of the sales department, loves maintaining a false facade of grandeur. At every dinner party and team-building event, he claims it is entirely his treat, but repeatedly forces his subordinate Lu Zechuan in private to front large sums of money. He even steals project proposals Lu Zechuan stayed up all night to write, hogging all the credit to brag everywhere. Lu Zechuan is actually the behind-the-scenes head of Huarui Group who took a low-profile job, initially tolerating everything. After repeated delays in reimbursing fronted funds, credit-stealing, and deception, Lu Zechuan wakes up completely. During team-building, he refuses to front the bill and publicly enforces splitting the cost; at the resource conference, when Liu Shijie falsely uses his identity to brag about connections, group executives publicly expose Lu Zechuan's true identity.
