Shadow puppets are found in victims' pupils and eerie lights haunt the crime scenes. What looks like folk legend is actually premeditated poisonings and optical trickery. Teaming up with forensic doctor Su Wanqing and Detective Chen, he unravels the mystery layer by layer, exposing secret thefts of Dongling relics, thwarting Japanese agents' plots to plunder shadow-bone cultural relics, and gradually uncovering the truth behind his father's disappearance years ago. An ultimate showdown over national cultural treasures is about to begin.
