Young Lin Ye discovers an ancient notebook and a wooden pendant among his grandfather's belongings, following the clues deep into the mystical realm of Shennongjia—the Forest of Astral Veins. There, he encounters the silver-haired realm guardian Ling Xi and a guiding ice-blue spirit deer, while being pursued by forces of the dark star beast.
