Lin Hao takes out his younger sister's 500,000-yuan dowry and spends a massive fortune erecting hail-protection netting over their orchard. Furious that her wedding plans are derailed, his sister breaks ties with him on the spot, while the villagers ridicule him for wasting money. When an unprecedented hailstorm suddenly strikes, neighboring orchards are obliterated, leaving only Lin Hao's orchard untouched and his fresh fruit selling at sky-high prices. After the wealthy family his sister relied on goes bankrupt, she returns seeking help. Choosing forgiveness, Lin Hao establishes an agricultural cooperative, shares disaster-prevention techniques, and leads the entire village out of hardship and into prosperity through his vision and kindness.
