The Girl from Shuxian in the Special Zone
A short drama about a loser opening a cheat code to rise up as an urban fresh graduate. The general idea is that the female protagonist Dai Jing is a small-town test-taker from Shuxian who came from Daxishi through the college entrance examination to the New Shenzhen Special Zone to study university. After graduation, she begins a beast-of-burden life of renting houses and working. Then, while renting a house in Baoan District, she encounters a magical house and a kind landlord. But her workplace company makes things difficult for her. After an accidental job-hopping overtime fainting spell, she unlocks the system cheat code. In the middle, she develops mutual affection with her helpful and good-relationship colleague male lead Zhang Gao (foreshadowing for season two). Finally, it is the story of achieving small success in entrepreneurship and returning home in glorious attire to distribute red envelopes to her family and town neighbors.
