Seven Years of Filial Duty, Awakening Overnight
For seven years, the widow Shen Qiuhe devoted herself to caring for her paralyzed mother-in-law, Zhao Guilan, exhausting all her savings in the process. Heartbroken, Shen Qiuhe decided to stop shouldering the burden of caring for her mother-in-law alone and took her daughter to the city to make a living. Relying on her sewing skills, she worked her way up step by step and eventually started her own women's clothing workshop. Unexpectedly, the three Chen siblings, seeking money, brought their mother to her doorstep to cause trouble and spread slander.
