Since I Can't Get Any Sunlight at Home, I Go Three Thousand Li Away
Meng Qinghe has spent years confined to a dark, north-facing little room, while the sunny south-facing bedroom in her home is reserved exclusively for her cousin, Shao Wenxiao, whenever he comes to stay. After taking the college entrance examination, she applies to Nanchuan University, 2,800 kilometers away, sparking fierce opposition from her parents. As layers of concealed truths are gradually exposed, the family discovers that years ago, while her mother was chasing Shao Wenxiao's mother to the Nanchuan train station, Meng Qinghe was abducted amid the chaos, and her uncle sacrificed his life trying to save her. The truth also involves debts, a human trafficking ring, and a missing girl named Qin Xiaohe. Everyone rushes to Nanchuan to assist the police in apprehending the criminals, bringing long-buried regrets and painful memories into the open. In the end, Qinghe sets off for a distant future, reconciles with her family, breaks free from years of self-sacrifice and surrender, and finds the light that belongs to her.
