After offering tea and calling 'Dad' six times at the wedding only to be given the cold shoulder, Xu Jingqiu refused to compromise her dignity any further. She returned the bride price and housing funds, courageously ending a marriage that lacked respect, while clearing up rumors with hard facts. After the storm passed, Zhou Mingchuan learned about accountability and boundaries, and Zhou Guoliang publicly apologized. Divorce was not an end, but a fresh start. When Zhou Mingchuan sincerely asked if he could pursue her anew, Xu Jingqiu said yes, but only if he got to know the woman she is today. Love is not about endurance, but respect; growing up is taking responsibility for one's own life.
