To save his mother, Bao Butong puts on Bao Gong opera costume, only to accidentally step into a world of demons and monsters. Executing gods and buddhas above, executing ghosts and monsters below, gathering the four major guardians to protect the mortal realm on the path of righteousness, Bao Butong henceforth walks between the yin and yang realms. With upright righteousness and a guillotine in hand, he cuts down mortal grievances and slays the evil specters of the world.
