Film director Wang Xiaoning suffers in an industry slump and becomes a haunted-house sleep tester. On his first job, he encounters the deceased owner's AI girlfriend. Though he earns a hefty sum safely, fear lingers, and his girlfriend Dandan urges him to switch to ride-hailing instead. Facing harassment during a photo shoot, Dandan plans to transition into live streaming. Unexpectedly, Xiaoning's father suffers a sudden heart attack, desperately needing tens of thousands in hospital deposits. Left with no choice, Xiaoning contacts Boss Gao, takes on a three-day sleep test gig at a hospital, and asks for pay in advance. Driving a cab at night, he scouts the hospital while waiting for passengers; the building looks normal, yet exudes a chilling aura. Checking in the next day, he meets Luna, a nurse who once worked there, stepping into endless danger.
