Luo Tianhai offers a dowry of 50 million and his martial arts hall to find a husband for his scarred daughter, Luo Qingxue. The destitute young man Shen Yan steps forward to marry her, though he is secretly a grandmaster of Huajin martial arts. Healing her face with silver needles and defeating the senior disciple and Brother Dao with traditional kung fu, he suppresses the Red Python, crushes Shadow-Foot Thunder Leopard, and ultimately defeats the Yunchuan God of War, Li Juechen, before legally bringing down Tianqiong Group. The debt of gratitude over a steamed bun twelve years ago comes to light, and the two stay together forever.
