Eric, a young blacksmith, enters a tournament to save his younger sister Lily from an arranged marriage. Publicly humiliated as the ruler's illegitimate grandson, his spear suddenly crackles with golden lightning, awakening a divine power. Ivar tries to frame him, but Odin intervenes, exposing Ivar as Loki in disguise. Eric slays a two-headed dragon, and when his grandfather passes away, the throne is bequeathed to him.
