I Became the General's Darling, Cherished in the Palm of His Hand
An imperial decree betroths Yu Wan, the talented beauty of Chang'an, to Shen Ce, a General of the Cloud-Banner who has just returned from the frontier. She resists the arrangement wholeheartedly, finding him crude and uncultured, while the man she has always admired is an elegant gentleman. Shen Ce, for his part, has little fondness for delicate, bookish young ladies. But unexpectedly, the moment he lays eyes on Yu Wan during their first meeting, his heart is thrown into turmoil. A beautiful, scholarly and talented young lady meets a carefree, straightforward General of the Cloud-Banner. Married before falling in love, they go from bickering enemies to two people who wholeheartedly choose each other, ultimately falling deeply and sweetly in love.
