Xu Xiatong, head of the Yaohui project, led her team to a bidding meeting in her previous life. Team member Xu Jing deliberately arrived late, and Zhou Shiming along with others pressured the group with team spirit to wait, causing them to miss the flight. After the conference, Xu Jing pushed her to death, and the others twisted the truth. Her boyfriend Jian Yiyang suffered cyberbullying and committed suicide while investigating the truth. Reborn on that fateful day, Xu Xiatong heads to the bidding meeting alone. Zhou Shiming and the others still insist on waiting for Xu Jing and miss the bidding when flights are grounded by thunderstorms. Xu Jing takes an overpriced bus but still arrives late. Instead of repenting, the group attacks and livestreams slanders against Xu Xiatong on site. At the critical moment, Jian Yiyang suddenly appears.
