Set in a modern urban family, the drama revolves around the tense relationship between a pregnant daughter-in-law, a domineering mother-in-law, and a husband caught between the two. Using pregnancy care as an excuse, the mother-in-law moves into their home and forcibly interferes with her daughter-in-law's diet, daily routine, and lifestyle under the pretext of doing what is best for the baby. She stubbornly clings to outdated beliefs about pregnancy and childbirth, even searching for folk remedies to ensure the baby will be a boy. Initially, the daughter-in-law silently endures and gives in, while her husband constantly tries to keep the peace and avoids confronting the problem, allowing the rift between the two women to deepen. When the mother-in-law forces her daughter-in-law to drink an unknown herbal remedy supposedly meant to protect the pregnancy, nearly endangering the unborn child, it becomes the breaking point. Heartbroken and disillusioned, the daughter-in-law decides to move out.

Située dans une famille urbaine moderne, cette histoire met en scène les relations tendues entre une belle-fille enceinte, une belle-mère autoritaire et un mari tiraillé entre les deux. Sous prétexte de prendre soin de sa belle-fille pendant sa grossesse, la belle-mère s'installe chez le couple et s'immisce de force dans son alimentation, ses horaires et son quotidien, prétendant agir 'pour le bien de l'enfant'. Attachée à des croyances dépassées concernant la grossesse et l'accouchement, elle va jusqu'à rechercher des remèdes traditionnels pour avoir un petit-fils. Au début, la belle-fille endure la situation en silence et fait des concessions, tandis que son mari tente constamment de ménager les deux parties et évite d'affronter les problèmes. Le fossé entre les deux femmes ne cesse alors de se creuser. Lorsque la belle-mère oblige sa belle-fille à boire un remède mystérieux censé protéger la grossesse, mettant presque le bébé en danger, les tensions atteignent leur point de rupture. Le cœur brisé et profondément déçue, la belle-fille décide de quitter la maison.
