Focusing on the intangible cultural heritage of Datiehua (molten iron fireworks), this drama follows Liang Shouyi, Chen Mai, Zhou Ye, and a group of artisans on their rehearsal and growth journey. Across old threshing floors and open river bends, they repeatedly polish their performance despite numerous postponements caused by wind, venue, and weather constraints, continually adjusting footwork, drum rhythms, and narrative arcs. Letting go of the obsession with showing off, they balance safety with spectacle and resolve generational divides, learning that true heritage is not rigid adherence to old rules, but adapting to the moment and embracing each other. Ultimately, they understand that knowing one's measure and cherishing teamwork are the true essence of Datiehua.
