The heavens and earth once fell into ruin, and spiritual runes were recast. All clans determine their destiny through runes, and all living beings cultivate through them. Ancient runes carry the Dao as well as tribulations; above the Ruined Sky, the old order has crumbled, yet a new order is not yet established. Yue Peng, a youth from Luoxia Village bearing a nameless spirit rune, walks out from between the spiritual fields and the secluded forest. Carrying a cloth-wrapped short blade, he steps into a turbulent world where sects, myriad races, and ancient secrets of the Ruined Sky intertwine. He must uncover his grandfather's past, pursue the truth of the Primordial Nether Forest, and carve his own rune in a world where destiny is supposedly predetermined. With a mortal body, break through the Ruined Sky; with spiritual runes, defy fate.
