The spirit tide resurges, and crises from other realms surge undercurrents. Young Su Xuan unexpectedly takes over the declining Wuji Sect, stepping into the breach as the new sect master. He successively recruits a group of disciples burdened with spiritual roots and bloodlines, rebuilds the mountain gate, and deals with various disasters triggered by the spirit tide. The Xuan Bear clan colludes with the residual consciousness of the Heaven-Slaying Demon Emperor, attempting to open the origin rift and lure all clans to invade Kyushu. Su Xuan leads his disciples to shuttle between the mortal and cultivation worlds, uniting the Kyushu Joint Defense to fight against alien beasts and crack conspiracies. From a youth who only wanted to guard the mountain gate to growing into the guardian of the earth, everyone gathers the will of all living beings and seals the rift in the name of Wuji, establishing a brand-new defensive order for Kyushu.
