Wen Yining, who studied abroad for eight years, unexpectedly returns to China, only to discover that she actually lives inside a novel world. To change Lu Sinian's fate, Wen Yining proactively approaches him, and their feelings gradually break through the original plotline. However, the author behind the scenes constantly modifies the world line, and even tampers with Lu Sinian's memory, transferring the white moonlight identity belonging to Wen Yining to Shen Tangtang.
