Intern Qu Mi earns a monthly salary of three thousand, but her colleague Sister Zhang spreads a rumor that she makes thirty thousand, even extorting her for a hundred and thirty thousand in dining bills and forcing her to sign an IOU. The rumor causes turmoil in the company; she faces reprimands from her supervisor, cold eyes from finance, and the boss forcing her to compensate for an eight hundred thousand loss. With nowhere left to turn, her father, a bank president, appears to reveal the truth that the company only obtained loans through his daughter's connections, severely punishing those who maliciously made things difficult for her. Leaving the toxic company, Qu Mi enters the bank's headquarters on her own merits, upholds her principles to solve a loan fraud case, rises through the ranks, gains love and family, and completes her transformation from a humiliated intern to a workplace elite.
