Migrant worker Lin Jianguo labors at the East City construction site, only to have his entire month's wages maliciously withheld by ruthless contractor Wang Hu, who tears up his payslip in public and subjects him to relentless humiliation. Lin Jianguo's son, Lin Chen, who is actually the CEO of Dingsheng Group, halts an important meeting and rushes to the site upon finding out. He steps in not only to reclaim his father's hard-earned money and dignity, but also to shut down the project, thoroughly expose the shoddy construction fraud, pay all back wages owed to the workers, and blacklist the corrupt contractor from the entire industry. As the dust settles, an old blueprint surfaces, revealing a deep, long-standing bond connecting father and son with Dingsheng Group.
