President Li, who has worked in high-end food for a decade, went to the countryside five years ago to help poor villages lift themselves out of poverty by buying tea at stable prices, paving roads, and donating tools. Bringing 5 million in cash into the mountains to buy tea, she faces tea farmers who breach their contract and demand extortionate price hikes at the instigation of poverty-alleviation volunteer Wang Juan. In tears, President Li tears up the contract and cuts ties. The farmers livestream tea sales, only to face massive returns due to shoddy packaging and moldy leaves, and are banned after slandering Li's company. A cold snap hits, leaving the tea rotting in the fields. Regretful, the farmers beg on their knees, but President Li holds her ground and cuts all ties, exposing the clash between human greed and integrity.
