Su Wan Enters Lu Chenyuan's Embrace
On their third wedding anniversary, Su Wan catches her husband cheating—with her former assistant, whom she mentored for two years. Her ex-husband throws her 100,000 yuan and says, "Divorce me. That's enough for you." She refuses the money and leaves with nothing but a suitcase full of manuscripts. Outside the Civil Affairs Bureau, her ex-husband's sworn rival, Lu Chenyuan, hands her his household registration booklet and says, "He doesn't want you, but I do." They divorce in the morning and register their marriage in the afternoon, with a one-year agreement. The entire internet waits to see a divorced housewife get dumped, unaware that she is a genius designer who disappeared three years ago. Returning to her career, she establishes her authority at construction sites, wins gold at a joint review, and becomes a legend in urban renewal. Her ex-husband goes from looking down on her to desperately begging her to remarry him, while Lu Chenyuan protects her in his arms: "Mr. Gu, she's my wife. Try laying a finger on her."
