Sui Sui Takes Charge
Six-year-old Sui Sui sleeps for a full five hundred years. When she wakes up, she discovers that all five of her mothers have disappeared. With nothing but twelve copper coins, five dogtail grass rings, and a worn-out oil-paper umbrella, she sets off down the mountain alone to find her family. One by one, she finds her five mothers, who have become the Red Flame Female Emperor, the Proud Snow Sword Sovereign, the Azure Sea Mermaid Queen, the Netherworld Soul Master, and the Celestial Dome Divine Emperor. Along the way, she uncovers the truth about the suffering they endured while suppressing the Demon God.
