On Shore Lies a Dead End, at Sea Lies the Way Home
Reborn, Chen Yuan knows that a massive tsunami will destroy the entire village in seven days. When the family divides its property, he gives up the ancestral home and takes the dilapidated boat everyone looks down on. He reclaims the money owed to his late father and rushes to repair the boat and stock up on supplies with his family and companions. As predicted, the tsunami swallows the fishing village, but the rebuilt wooden boat saves their lives. In the vast ocean left behind, danger lurks everywhere: natural threats such as sharks and ruthless raiders led by Tiger. Chen Yuan and his companions face both natural disasters and human malice, fighting to survive amid the floods and the frozen sea that follows, searching for a way to stay alive.
