The name of a girl whom no record in the entire school can find is engraved deep within the memory of art student Lu Xingmian. A warm pink rift in time by the seaside hides the truth from three years ago: the girl Xia Jianying sacrificed her very existence in exchange for his life, trapped forever in a looping day. Risking his entire future as his wager, he steps into the rift, using their mutual bond and an unfulfilled promise to shatter the time loop and reclaim the midsummer that belongs to them.
