Ye Suhua sells her house to rely on her son Zhao Wu, only to discover that he swindled away her coffin money to pay off his debts and even 'introduced' her to his creditor Wang Jun for profit. In despair, she reunites with her first love Wu Jianshe, and they rekindle their old flame. When Zhao Wu and Wang Jun force Ye Suhua to remarry Wang Jun, Wu Jianshe reveals his identity as a billionaire tycoon to protect her, uncovering the shocking truth: Wu Kun, the orphan he adopted, is actually Ye Suhua's biological son whom she was forced to give away years ago. Reunited as a family of three, Ye Suhua and Wu Jianshe join hands against the greedy Zhao Wu and Wang Jun, resolving grievances with love and tolerance to embrace a late but fulfilling, happy life.
