On Earth There Is a Feast, Year After Year There Is Warmth
At 23 years old, rural country girl A Dai posted a cry-for-help video in the early morning to help her elderly father slaughter two New Year pigs. Unexpectedly, the video went viral overnight, with nearly a thousand strangers driving into the village, turning what was originally an ordinary New Year pig feast into a traffic event watched nationwide. Behind the hustle and bustle, internet celebrities staged dirty photos, brands bought lies at high prices, fake cured pork misappropriated photos of the whole family, and trademarks were maliciously registered. After falling to rock bottom, A Dai and her older brother began reinvestigating from a single ear tag, an accounts receivable ledger, and six abnormal money transfers, reestablishing a cooperative system where no single person could independently control accounts, seals, and procurement.
