Jiang Xuan, a prince of the Great Zhou Dynasty, was demoted to the Imperial Ancestral Temple due to a misunderstanding. Remaining dignified and composed, he quietly deciphered natural phenology during his daily sweeping. When a three-year severe drought caused nationwide panic, he was pushed onto a high altar as a sacrificial offering to pray for rain. Facing the contempt and doubts of the world, Jiang Xuan remained calm and collected. Skillfully utilizing ancient scientific deduction, he summoned 'Sky Thunder to Bring Rain' at the exact hour of three quarters past noon, unleashing wild lightning and torrential rain that saved the people of the world! Witnessing the miracle, the Emperor humbled himself to greet Jiang Xuan in person and conferred upon him the title of Imperial Prince. However, Jiang Xuan brushed his sleeves and declined, willingly renouncing royal privileges to remain guarding the Imperial Ancestral Temple.
