Due to poor fortune, a rich household head discards the stone turtle that has guarded their well for generations. A poor girl harbors a kind thought and properly settles the stone turtle amidst the wind and snow. Thereafter, the stone turtle is moved by this kindness, helps the girl cure her seriously ill mother, and also gifts her a spiritual stone that can generate silver daily. Upon learning of this, the rich household head gives rise to greed, forcefully snatches the spiritual stone, and even shatters it in a delusional attempt to get violently rich. Who would have known that excessive greed invites evil consequences, causing the spiritual stone to mutate and backfire, exhausting his entire family fortune.
