Tourist Jiang Man visits a Miao village for sightseeing. A misunderstanding over a foot-stomping incident at the festival square unexpectedly brings her together with Lan An, a local young man. Jiang Man has come on a work assignment to investigate local legends and unique traditions. Along the way, she encounters one amusing incident after another, while Lan An sincerely stays by her side. The two team up to venture into the mountains and collect various items.
