Chen Yan, a key technical specialist, has his commissions deducted and bonuses suspended by a newly appointed vice president simply because he overstepped his authority by dealing directly with clients. When the client explicitly insists that only he can handle the acceptance inspection, she brings in salespeople who know nothing about the technology to take the credit. After the project is sabotaged and the blame is pinned on him, Chen Yan chooses to resign and start a new venture with his former supervisor. On the day Hengyuan reopens the bidding, he proves through his abilities that clients have never cared about titles, only about people who can solve problems.

Şirketin kilit teknik uzmanı Chen Yan'ın komisyonları kesilir ve primleri, yeni atanan genel müdür yardımcısı tarafından durdurulur. Tek suçu, müşterilerle doğrudan iletişim kurarak yetkisini aştığının iddia edilmesidir. Müşteri, proje kabul denetiminde yalnızca Chen Yan'ı kabul ettiğini açıkça belirtince kadın, teknik bilgisi olmayan satış çalışanlarını getirip başarıyı kendilerine mal etmelerini sağlar. Proje sabote edilip suç Chen Yan'ın üzerine atılınca istifa etmeye ve eski yöneticisiyle yeni bir iş kurmaya karar verir. Hengyuan'ın yeniden ihaleye çıktığı gün, gerçek yeteneğini ortaya koyarak müşterilerin unvanlara değil, sorunları çözebilen insanlara değer verdiğini kanıtlar.
