Su Xiaomin, CEO of the Su Group, has searched relentlessly for her first love, Lu Jie, for an entire decade. Back then, after receiving a misdiagnosed terminal illness report, Lu Jie broke her heart and left so he wouldn't burden her, returning to his hometown alone to cultivate a peach orchard. Ten years later, Su Xiaomin arrives at the orchard, mistakenly thinking Lu Jie has found someone else, and witnesses creditors pressuring him into surrendering his land. Testing him by pretending she is about to marry someone else, she uncovers the truth from years ago: his illness was a misdiagnosis, but consumed by guilt, he didn't dare go back to her, choosing instead to quietly guard the peach orchard and wait for her. Clearing up the misunderstanding, Su Xiaomin fends off the greedy creditors, breaks free from an arranged marriage forced by her mother, lets go of her status, and reunites with Lu Jie to fulfill the promise of their youth.
