Wu Xiahe worked tirelessly for the Zhou family for ten years, only to have her entire salary taken by her in-laws, her daughter's tuition embezzled to buy her brother-in-law a car, and her identity forged as a loan guarantor. Pushed to her absolute limit, she leaves home with her daughter, starting from thirty night-shift meal boxes and gradually building "Xiahe Diner" with her culinary craft, integrity, and crystal-clear accounts. Facing relentless harassment, malicious rumors, and business hurdles from her former in-laws, she firmly defends her rights with hard evidence, ultimately recovering a decade of hard-earned money, ending her marriage, cementing her enterprise, and securing her daughter's higher education. Once the old debts are settled, mother and daughter usher in a truly independent new life.
