Barren Land Creates Peace, Adversity Builds Universe
Crawling out from a pile of corpses, an amnesiac orphan woman, carrying a starving child, fights for a way to survive in a purgatorial troubled world. Pursued and besieged by enemies, she counter-attacks to seize a knife, burns the cellar to cut off food supplies, and escapes with the child. Raising her hands, she can smelt steel, plant crops, and build cities; refugees call her a living Bodhisattva, yet warlords want to seize her secret skills. She says she wants to make this troubled world stop, but the pursuit is not over yet—can she really overturn the old dynasty?
